Description
This painting was inspired by a photo I took while standing atop a mountain, overlooking the Oregon coastline. I was struck by how seamlessly the shoreline merged with the sea—a continuous flow of land into water. The golden yellows and patches of green from the land blended beautifully with the deep blues of the sea, all set against a light blue sky. It was truly breathtaking. To capture this scene, I used two watercolor techniques: wet-on-wet and glazing. Wet-on-wet involves applying paint to a wet surface, allowing the colors to flow and blend smoothly, creating soft layers and edges. Glazing, on the other hand, builds depth and richness by applying multiple thin layers of paint.
I’ve crafted these prints to bring the beauty of my artwork into your home with the finest quality. I use Canon LUCIA PRO ink to ensure vibrant colors, consistent tones, and sharp detail. The prints are made on Fabriano cold press watercolor paper, which mimics the texture of my original paintings.
